Wow, we had a busy short week! Our class had a fabulous time on our field trip to Stages Theatre. We had read several versions of Stone Soup, so it was very interesting to compare and contrast the play. Thank you for supporting these special learning opportunities for your child. We really appreciate it! Here are some pictures of the class waiting for the play to begin and the fun bus ride! Dear Woodland Parent/Guardian,

This program is specifically designed to provide a casual first performance experience for First Grade students in a comfortable, informal, and supportive environment. In this program students learn and practice the basics of performing, including following directions with brain, body, and voice. Likewise, the young students attending this program practice how to be attentive audience members during programs at Woodland. Parents of First Graders are welcome to attend this informal music share. When we conclude our singing at 3:30, students will return to their classrooms to complete their school day!
